Be a Champion for Arizona’s Kids: Join the Choose Safe Places Program Pilot!
AZ Choose Safe Place (CSP) partners with early childhood education facilities to reduce environmental hazards and keep children healthy by offering free, voluntary site assessments. We review past site use, safe drinking water, natural hazards, and nearby sites to identify risks and provide actionable recommendations. This program is non-regulatory, so joining won’t affect your licensing status—just your confidence that your site is free from hidden environmental hazards.
New and existing ECE programs, including home- and school-based facilities, are eligible to participate in this pilot.
AZ CSP offers pilot participants:
- Free site assessments to identify potential health risks
- Actionable recommendations to protect health and safety
- Education on contaminants and solutions
