Professional Identity
A group of state partners and stakeholders have been developing a way to highlight the skills and knowledge that educators bring to their jobs in early childhood education. This work has resulted in a revision to the Career Lattice and Registry.
Starting Fall 2025, The Registry will soon have an updated look that highlights all three aspects of your professional identity; Your education, your experience, and your goals.
An all new Registry Dashboard: Currently in development, the dashboard will be your Registry homepage. You will find all the tools and information you need, right at your fingertips!
The Educator Designation: This will replace the Career Lattice and highlight your formal early childhood education. Your designation will appear throughout the Registry. View the new Educator Designations below.
Professional Development: The new interface will have easy to find reports and search tools to support your PD needs.

The Educator Designations align with the Arizona Early Childhood Workforce Knowledge and Competencies (WKCs). The difference is that the Workforce Knowledge and Competencies reflect the progression of knowledge and skills while the Educator Designations reflect the formal education path a professional takes to obtain them.
