We invite you to join this series of 7 no-cost online weekly sessions to sharpen your early childhood equity lens with a focus on the NAEYC Advancing Equity in Early Childhood Statement. We will explore recommendations to center equity, racial and social justice. We will engage in knowledge and skill building, reflection, and collaborative dialogue to develop an action plan and concrete strategies to design equitable early learning environments for Arizona’s children, families, and educators.
All participants will receive a complimentary copy of the book Anti-Bias Education for Young Children and Ourselves published by NAEYC (digital and hard copies available).
Participants will have access to experienced faculty who will use both short lessons and participant presentations to explore equity and anti-bias education. Through weekly group Zoom sessions and shared learning, participants will investigate and practice some of the important strategies needed to advance equity in early childhood.
Designed for early childhood educators, early childhood students, family or home-based providers, and participants working directly with young children birth through age 5.
Earn 10.5 professional development hours or CEUs of continuing education.
