The 2021 Virtual AIITEC American Indian/Indigenous Education Conference at Northern Arizona University on Culturally Sustaining Practices for Teaching Indigenous Students is scheduled for June 24-26, 2021.
Through an online platform, join a community of indigenous educators and researchers to share proven strategies and practical resources that participants can immediately use to welcome students to their classrooms and to promote student success. There is a $25 (U.S.) registration fee for this virtual event featuring Vincent Werito, Holly Mackey, Amanda Tachine, and indigenous language teachers from Arizona, New Mexico, Hawaii, Alaska, Wyoming, and New Zealand.
