The 2021 AzAEYC Early Childhood Scholarship “Honor the Past and Reimagine the Future” was renamed this year to acknowledge and honor the outstanding service of early childhood professionals, past, present, and future.
As a member benefit, AzAEYC members get an extra week to complete their application before it opens to other early childhood educators on Saturday, September 18, 2021.
About the 2021 AzAEYC Early Childhood Scholarship
The goal of this Scholarship is to recognize the leadership qualities of early childhood educators and their commitment to equity.
Two (2) ECE student applicants will each be awarded a check for $1,250. Eligible student applicants must:
- Currently attend an Arizona college or university
- Major in early childhood education (or a closely related field) with an interest in equitable early childhood experiences, public policy, and advocacy efforts on behalf of young children and families.
- Use the scholarship to continue college education, attain ECE career goals like purchasing resources for professional growth, and/or cover living expenses.
A student may apply themselves or may be nominated by their college faculty, advisor or a supervisor, or any professional in the field.
Applications are due on or before Thursday, September 30, 2021.
