The AZ Healthy Child Care Helpline is a free service available statewide to Arizona child care providers to answer questions and get expert advice on health and safety practices and policies during COVID-19.

Call 602-506-6767 (ext. 2) Monday – Friday 8:30AM – 4:30PM or send an email any time to AZ.HealthyChildCare@maricopa.gov.

Available Services

Child care health consultants (CCHCs) from the Maricopa County Department of Public Health can provide:

  • Brief one-on-one “on-the-spot” support via phone or email
  • More intensive targeted technical assistance virtual meetings
  • “How-To” webinars

About the Helpline

The AZ Healthy Child Care Helpline is made possible by a grant from the PNC Foundation. It is operated by the Maricopa County Department of Public Health in partnership with First Things First, Arizona’s early childhood agency.

This service is available to child care centers and homes that are not already eligible to receive services from Quality First child care health consultants.
