Social & Emotional Development Level 1 Recognize the importance of using attentive, responsive methods to help children’s socio- emotional development. CLE. 3.3.1 Level 2 Understand the importance of providing a variety of attentive, responsive methods to facilitate each child's social and emotional development. Implement experiences, based on individual children’s progress, to facilitate gradual and continuous mastery of these skills. CLE 3.3.2 Level 3 Develop, plan, and create an environment which supports children’s development of: o Trust and emotional security o Self-awareness o Recognition and expression of feelings o Self-regulation, i.e., how to manage or regulate one's behavior o Attachment o Social interactions o Relationships with other children o Respect Plan social/emotional growth experiences, for children based on observation and assessment of individual children’s growth Model and help others acquire proficient skills to facilitate children’s social and emotional development.
